This surveillance kit includes a DVR featuring 8 channels of high performance real-time record and playback, H.264 compression storage and the ability to monitor video feeds live from a mobile phone or internet browser. The DVR also comes with a pre-installed 500GB hard drive.

The 4 bullet security cameras also included feature a 1/3″ PixelPlus CMOS image sensor, 600 TV lines of resolution, a 3.6mm fixed lens and 24 IR LEDs with a range of 50ft. The camera is also IP66 weather resistant and runs on DC 12V.

The kit also includes 60ft. of Siames cabling per camera, a mouse and IR remote for the DVR, power adapters for all of the cameras and DVR, a 5-way power splitter cable, the software for the DVR and more!

I’m just going to preface this with a note. If you know nothing about technology, don’t pretend you do, then get frustrated when the installation process goes horribly wrong, leading you to write a bad review blaming the product because of your lack of technological skill. That being said, this system was so easy to install and configure it was ridiculous. The price was too good NOT to purchase this system, given what you get and the quality of the cameras. The most difficult and time consuming part was figuring out the wiring path and running the conduit. The system has the capability of transmitting remotely and if you choose to utilize this, please don’t attempt unless you are comfortable accessing and changing your router’s settings.The first thing I did was set the system up on the counter to make sure everything was functioning properly.Next I figured out the path I wanted the wiring to take from the camera locations I had chosen.I then installed the…
