Mediocre system. Prone to outages, difficult to recommend … EDIT 11/18/13: After living with this system for 4 months, I have to drop my rating from 3-stars down to 1. The system has seen little improvement since launch (despite repeated assurances by the vendor), and the past month has been fraught with outages. “Network error” messages about once a week (which means you can’t disarm the alarm, etc.), and the kicker was this past week when all of my devices (door/motion sensors, remotes) stopped communicating with the cube. The iPhone app showed no abnormalities – I was able to arm/disarm the alarm, but since none of the devices were actually working, it didn’t matter! For almost 2 days I had an alarm system that I could arm and disarm, but with zero working sensors it wouldn’t have mattered. Someone could have broken in and the alarm would have just sat there happily blinking away…For my immediate problem above, the solution was to manually remove the device associations and to re-add them as new devices (which meant…

Great system with a few bugs The Ismart alarm system is great. There are some issues with the system that I DO NOT like. My biggest complaint is that a crook has over 60 seconds to break in your home and rummage through your stuff OR come into your house and slit your throat in your sleep until the alarm goes off.I addressed my concern with Ismart and they insured me that a update would fix this some time in October and that the alarm will be able to go off instantly – five minutes . Another thing I don’t like is when you open a door and close it you will get 10 push notification at once. This only happens every so often but it’s pretty annoying.Currently there are NO accessories bundles. Ismart is affordable when comparing it to monitoring fees but the cost to protect a 1,500 square foot home can be costly. The system comes with very little I added two motion detectors and 3 door contact sensors and a extra remote. I notice things started adding up quick. It would be nice if they…
