Dead on arrival, not as pictured If you’ll notice the picture is of a crystal clear mirror like surface with a slight transparency allowing you to view the clock within.What you get is a piece that looks like a truck stop bathroom or funhouse mirror. Distorted, not transparent, a little bit shiny (mine was scratched through the protective plastic because the shippers apparently decided small rocks make great packing material – and the rocks were included for free!) and it has custom size “super batteries” that were installed backwards before shipping. These were almost as thick as C batteries but not quite, and almost as long as 2 double A’s but not quite.So I’m not sure if these super batteries were the sole source of energy and that’s why it’s dead because they shipped it with them backwards, or if there’s something wrong with the internals that prevents it from working.I suppose it’s possible that was their plan, put dead batteries into a dead unit backwards before shipping to…
